Local History Achievement Awards
Every year the Vermont Historical Society presents the League of Local Historical Societies & Museums (LLHSM) Achievement Awards. These awards recognize the exceptional work being done by individuals and community heritage organizations throughout the state to collect, preserve and share Vermont’s rich history. Awards are presented each year in the fall.
Nominations for the 2022 Awards will be considered for projects that were undertaken or completed during the period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, as well as for individual achievement over an extended period of time. The deadline for submissions is August 19, 2022.
Awards are given in a number of categories, including:
- Publications/Multimedia
- Historic Preservation/Collections Care
- Exhibitions/Engagement/Public Programs
- Access/Digitization
- Individual or Group Achievement
