Dog River Park
Dog River Park in Northfield, VT is a new community space with an intriguing history. A residential area since around 1848, Tropical Storm Irene in 2011 destroyed most of the houses and rebuilding was not possible. The Northfield Historical Society and others came together after to build the park and remember the people and the history there.
This Place in History is produced in partnership by Local 22 & Local 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
