The Vermont Historical Society is seeking three rising high school juniors or seniors for our Geiger Fellowship program, which awards stipends of $1,500 for summer work related to the collections, archives, and exhibits of the Vermont Historical Society. Potential activities include: learning to tell cultural stories through historical artifacts and artwork, learning museum standards for collections, and assisting with exhibitions and associated programs. Students will ideally work two days a week in June, July, and August, though the schedule can be flexible.
The Fellow will produce a final work product available to the public at the end of their time. Applicants must be currently enrolled students at a high school or undergraduate level. A stipend of $1,500 is available for this fellowship.
